Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL), Amarkantak Thermal Power Station, Chachai, has invited online applications for one-year ITI apprentice training under the Apprentices Act 1961. Candidates who have passed an ITI from a government or government-recognised private institute in Madhya Pradesh can apply for Fitter, Turner, Welder, Motor Mechanic, Electrician and COPA trades. There are 29 seats in total, and the last date to apply online is 20 November 2026.

Vacancy Details

These vacancies are only for Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates. The number of seats may change as per the High Court of Madhya Pradesh order on OBC reservation. Vacancies arising from time to time this year may also be filled through applications received under this notice.

Eligibility

• Education: Passed ITI from a government or government-recognised industrial training institute (SCVT/NCVT).
• Age: Minimum age 18 years in all categories. Maximum age is 25 years for the General category; relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and 10 years for persons with disabilities.
• Domicile: Candidate must be a Madhya Pradesh domicile. Residents of Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Katni and Jabalpur districts will get preference.
• Prior registration: The candidate must not have registered earlier for apprenticeship in any establishment and must not have worked for one year or more in any organisation.
• One trade only: A candidate can apply in only one trade. Applying in more than one trade will lead to rejection.

Application Fee

• The notice does not mention any application fee.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of CGPA (semester average) marks obtained in the ITI.
• If marks are equal, older candidates will get preference. A waiting list will be made if needed.
• Incomplete or incorrect information in the online application will lead to rejection.
• Failure to join within the stated period will cancel the selection.
• Stipend: As per Government of India, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship rules, Rs 9600 per month.

How to Apply

• First register on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal.
• After registration, choose Amarkantak Thermal Power Station, Chachai, District Anuppur under "Establishment Search".
• Applications must be made through the apprenticeship portal. Selected candidates must submit a Rs 500 stamp paper agreement and a copy of accident insurance policy (at least one lakh rupees) at the office.
