PESCO DGM Recruitment 2026 - Contract Posts

Punjab Ex-Servicemen Corporation (PESCO), a Punjab Government undertaking, has invited applications for Deputy General Manager (DGM) posts on contract. The posts are DGM (IT), DGM (Project & Ventures) and DGM (Security). Medically fit retired Defence Services personnel are eligible. The basic pay is Rs 80,000 per month. Bio-data must reach PESCO by 24 Nov 2026.

Eligibility

• DGM (IT): Experienced retired Defence Services officer of rank Col/Lt Col/Maj or equivalent, with good knowledge of computers as OIC/Administrator. Master Degree in Computer Science, IT, Info Systems or Software Engineer. Preference to candidates from premier institutes like IIT, IIIT or NIT.
• DGM (Project & Ventures): Experienced retired Defence Services officer of rank Lt Col/Maj or equivalent, with good knowledge of computers. Post Graduate (preferably MBA or equivalent).
• DGM (Security): Col/Lt Col/Maj who has commanded a unit/sub unit/est or equivalent level and is medically fit.
• Working knowledge of Punjabi, Punjab Domicile and proficiency in computers are required for all appointments.

Age Limit

• Ex-Servicemen: less than 56 years as on 01 Nov 2026.
• Non-Ex-Servicemen for DGM (IT): less than 45 years.
• DGM (Project & Ventures) and DGM (Security): less than 56 years.

DGM (IT) Job Details

• Purpose: Head the entire IT setup of PESCO, run a paperless, ERP-based system and act as single point of contact with the software development agency.
• Initial contract will be for one year, extendable annually at the discretion of the Management.
• Experience: 5-10 years. Vendor certifications like SAP, Oracle/ERP, Scrum Master/Agile are listed.
• Punjabi proficiency up to 10th certificate and Punjab domicile are mandatory.

DGM (Project & Ventures) Job Details

• Purpose: Find new employment and self-employment avenues for ex-servicemen, widows and dependants, and liaise with the private sector and industry.
• Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of leadership experience.
• Fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi.
• Punjabi 10th certificate and Punjab domicile are mandatory.
