UDD Uttarakhand AMRUT 2.0 Recruitment 2026

The Urban Development Directorate (UDD), Government of Uttarakhand, has invited applications from professionals for contractual posts under AMRUT 2.0 (PMU/PIU). A total of 8 posts are open across five positions: Urban Infrastructure Expert (Water Supply), Urban Planner (State), MIS Expert (State), District Mission Manager (Urban) and Cluster Urban Planner. Applications must be sent only by registered or speed post, and the last date for receipt is 16 November 2026 (up to 5.00 pm). The appointment is purely temporary.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Urban Infrastructure Expert (Water Supply): Graduate in civil engineering with 7 years' experience in urban water supply projects, plus experience in water supply design and implementation. Post Graduate/M.Tech in civil, environmental or public health engineering with 2 years' experience.
• Urban Planner (State): Bachelor of Architecture/B.E. or B.Tech with postgraduate in planning/regional planning and 05 years' relevant experience. Must be a registered member of ITPI.
• MIS Expert (State): Graduate in IT/Computer Science/MCA/B.Tech or equivalent, with 7 years' experience.
• District Mission Manager (Urban): Graduate in Civil/Environmental/PHE with MBA, or M.Tech in civil/environmental/PHE engineering, with 05 years' experience in urban water supply, used water, drainage, parks, solid waste management or other urban infrastructure projects.
• Cluster Urban Planner: Bachelor of Architecture/B.E. or B.Tech with postgraduate in planning/regional planning and 3 years' relevant experience. Must be a registered member of ITPI.
• Experience in EAP/Central Assistance projects is an added advantage. For District Mission Manager, experience related to past "Swachha Suraksha" is also an added advantage.

Selection Process

• Appointment is based on the candidate's qualification and relevant experience, and actual remuneration will also be based on these.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date and venue of interview only by email or mobile.
• No TA/DA will be given to candidates called for interview.
• Services may be extended up to the mission period, subject to project requirement and annual performance evaluation.
• Director, UDD Dehradun has the right to cancel the recruitment at any stage of the process.
