Sangrur AYUSH Yoga Instructor Recruitment 2026

The District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Sangrur, has invited offline applications for 1 male part-time Yoga Instructor post under the District AYUSH Society. The application form with documents must reach the office by 13 November 2026 at 5:00 PM, either by post or in person. The instructor will take Yoga/IEC sessions in the morning at the AYUSH HWC. Minimum qualification is 10+2 with a Yoga certificate, diploma, degree or experience.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Education: 10+2 pass from a recognized educational board
• Punjabi: Punjabi pass up to Matric standard
• Yoga qualification: Certificate, diploma or degree in Yoga from a recognized institute or body, or a minimum 5 years experience certificate from a Yoga institute
• Age: 20 to 45 years as on 1 January 2026
• Health: Medically fit as per the medical certificate issued by the concerned Civil Surgeon

Application Fee

• The notice does not mention any application fee.

Selection Process

Selection is purely on merit. Marks are given for 10+2 percentage (out of 10), Yoga qualification (Certificate 10, Diploma 15, Degree 20), Yoga experience (1 mark per completed year, maximum 5), age (20-25 years 3 marks, 26-35 years 5 marks, 36-45 years 4 marks) and interview (5 marks). Candidates residing in the same village as the AYUSH HWC get preference. The interview committee includes the Deputy Commissioner (Chairman), the District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer (Member-Convenor), the District Homeopathy Officer and one Ayurvedic Medical Officer trained in Yoga Protocol. Those who have 10+2 but no Yoga certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized institute will undergo training in an institutional arrangement, without honorarium.

Honorarium
