National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has released a notice to engage 200 Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). The apprenticeship lasts 12 months with a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000. Online applications opened on 04.11.2026 and the last date to register is 18.11.2026.

The seat numbers are provisional and may change as per the company's requirement. Candidates can apply for one state only.
Eligibility
- Qualification: Regular (full-time) graduation in any discipline from a university or institution recognised by AICTE / DOTE / UGC, passed and holding the degree certificate as on 01.04.2026.
- Age: minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.04.2026. Age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and PwBD candidates as per Government of India rules.
- Nationality: Indian citizens, or subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, and other categories listed in the notice with a Government of India eligibility certificate.
- Candidates with a post-graduate degree are not eligible.
- Candidates with one year or more of work experience as on 01.04.2026 are not eligible.
- NATS profile must be 100% complete.
Application Fee
The notice does not mention any application fee.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting is based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying graduate degree, up to two decimal places.
- If the result is in CGPA/OGPA/GPA, it will be converted to percentage as per the university's formula.
- If two or more candidates have the same percentage, the older candidate gets the higher merit position.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through registered email and must appear in person for document verification.
How to Apply
- Register as a student on the NATS portal and get a 12-digit enrollment number.
- Existing NATS users should log in, go to "Apply against advertised vacancies", search "NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD" and click apply.
- Enter the percentage of marks in the "% of marks / CGPAx10" column; applications without it will not be considered.
