SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Recruitment 2026

The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications for 6 Specialist Cadre Officer posts on a fixed term employment basis. The posts include GM and Chief AI Officer, three DGM posts, AI Solution Architect and Enterprise AI Architect. Online registration and fee payment run from 19 October 2026 to 9 November 2026. Eligibility

The GM and Chief AI Officer post needs a B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in relevant streams, or M.Sc, MA (Statistics), M.Stat or MCA, along with 15+ years of experience in Banking/BFSI/IT. At least 3 years of that must be senior leadership experience. The three DGM posts need 10+ years of experience in Banking/BFSI/IT, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role. The AI Solution Architect and Enterprise AI Architect posts need a bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline and 8 years of overall experience, including 3 years in the specialised area named for each post. The notice says candidates must meet the criteria as on the date of eligibility.

Selection Process

The notice says shortlisting will be provisional and done without verification of documents. Candidates may be called for an interview at a venue decided by the Bank.
