Balangir District Court Group-D Recruitment 2026

The Office of the District Judge, Balangir has released Advertisement No. 04 of 2026 to engage 30 persons on daily wage (purely temporary basis) for Group-D services in the courts of Balangir. The last date to receive applications is 18.11.2026, and applications must be sent by Speed Post only. The engagement is temporary and does not give any right to regular service.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Must be a citizen of India.
• Must have passed at least Class-VIII examination from a recognised educational institution.
• Age not below 18 years and not above 42 years as on the date of the advertisement.
• Must be able to speak, read and write Odia and have elementary knowledge of English.
• Must be of good character, sound health and free from organic defect or bodily infirmity.
• If married, must not have more than one spouse living.
• Must not have any past criminal record.
• Candidates with proficiency in Cooking (unskilled), Driving (unskilled) and House Chores, and some knowledge of Electric and Plumbing work (unskilled), will get preference, subject to overall merit.

Application Fee

• The advertisement does not mention any application fee.
• Two self-addressed envelopes, each with postage stamps worth Rs.30/- affixed, must be submitted with the application.

Selection Process

• Selection will be made through a Walk-in Interview of eligible candidates whose applications are complete.
• Selection in the interview does not confer any right to engagement.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Payment will be made on the basis of actual attendance. No other allowances are admissible.

• Send the application in the prescribed format (Annexure-A) with self-attested copies of certificates and documents so that it reaches on or before 18.11.2026 (by 5:00 P.M.).
• Applications must be sent by Speed Post only.
• Write "Application for Engagement on Daily Wage Basis" on the envelope.
• Address: The Registrar, Civil Courts, Balangir (Patnagarh Road), P.O./Dist. - Balangir, PIN - 767001, Odisha.
• Documents to submit: filled form, self-attested educational certificates, self-attested Voter ID/Aadhaar or other government ID, two passport-size photographs, two self-addressed envelopes, undertaking of no claim to regular appointment, undertaking regarding no criminal case, and two character certificates from Gazetted Officers.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the last date will be summarily rejected.
