PM SHRI KV Shillong PGT Economics Walk-in 2026

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya EAC Upper Shillong has issued a walk-in interview notice to engage one PGT Economics teacher on contract for session 2026-27. The interview will be held on 10 November 2026 (Tuesday) from 8:30 am onwards. The last date for online registration is 9 November 2026. The post is purely part-time and contractual, so service can be ended at any time.

Eligibility

• General rule: As per KVS latest eligibility rules for all posts.
• Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications and proficiency to teach in English and Hindi.
• Relaxation: Where suitable candidates with B Ed are not available, relaxation for PGT may be given as per the extant rules of KVS.

Selection Process

• The mode of interview is personal interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to produce their supporting documents on the day of interview.
• Candidates who do not produce documents, or whose information is found wrong, can be barred from the interview or joining.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Place of interview: PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, EAC Upper Shillong.

How to Apply

• Only online registration through the KVS Samvida Sathi (SAMAGAM) portal will be accepted. Details are on the school's official website.
• SOFT COPY of certificates must be uploaded at the time of registration.
• Unregistered candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
• On the day of interview, bring the filled registration form, 2 recent passport size photographs, original testimonials and a set of self-attested photocopies of these documents.

Other Conditions

• The post is contractual and can be terminated when a regular incumbent fills it, when service is no longer required, when service is not satisfactory, or without giving any reason. The post will not be regularized.
