Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) University Polytechnic has invited applications for 1 post of Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the Electrical Engineering Section for the academic session 2026-27. The appointment is temporary and liable to termination at any time without notice. The last date for receipt of application forms in the Office of the Principal is 18.11.2026 up to 4:00 pm.

Eligibility
- Essential qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. and M.E. / M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or Equivalent, either in B.E. / B.Tech. or M.E. / M.Tech.
- Relevant and allied subjects are those approved by the University as per Annexure I
- Self-attested copies of the high school certificate, graduation and post-graduation mark-sheets and degrees, NET/JRF/SET etc. (as applicable), M.Phil./Ph.D. (if any) and experience certificates must be enclosed with the form
- Applications received without the necessary self-attested documents will be summarily rejected
Application Fee
- Non-refundable processing fee: Rs. 500/- (online payment only)
- PwD candidates are exempt from the processing fee if they upload an authentic Disability Certificate in the prescribed proforma
Selection Process
- Prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum; meeting them does not guarantee a call for interview
- The University may shortlist applicants, and call letters will be sent only to shortlisted candidates
- Selected applicants may be examined by an Internal Medical Board

- Fill the online application form at the careers portal (https://careers.amuonline.ac.in) and take a printout of the PDF on A4 paper
- Sign the form, paste a recent photograph at the designated place and attach self-attested copies of all relevant documents
- Super-scribe the top-left side of the cover with the post name, advertisement number and date, and submit by post to the Office of the Principal, University Polytechnic (Boys) on or before 18.11.2026 by 04:00 pm
