Eligibility

• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
• Education: A PhD or equivalent doctorate from a recognised institute or university. All degrees from graduation onward must be first class, that is at least 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 60% marks.
• Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis may also apply, but must produce the PhD award certificate before joining.
• Age: At most 35 years at the time of submitting the application.
• Applications must be made within 5 years of the PhD award date.
• Candidates who did their PhD from ABV-IIITM Gwalior can apply after 1 year from their PhD viva-voce approval date.
• Publications: At least 3 papers in SCI/SSCI/SCIE journals, of which at least 1 must be in a Q1 journal as per the latest JCR.
• At least one degree from graduation onward, or work experience on a regular pay scale or as guest faculty, should be from a CFTI (such as IISc, IITs, IIITs, NITs, IIMs, ISI, IISERs) or a foreign university with QS rank 500 or better.

Selection Process

Selection is made through a personal/technical interview (presentation and interview) before the Selection Committee. A Screening Committee will short-list candidates. Being called for interview does not guarantee selection. Candidates pay their own travel cost for the interview, and no TA/DA is paid.
