VNMKV Recruitment 2026: Walk-in for 5 Posts

The Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV), Parbhani, is hiring for 5 contractual posts at the Oilseeds Research Station, Latur, under the Central Sector Scheme "National Mission on High Yielding Seeds (NMHYS)". The posts are Senior Research Fellow, Young Professional-II (2 posts), Field Assistant and Computer Operator. Selection is by walk-in interview on 13 November 2026. Vacancy Details

The posts are purely temporary and contractual, initially up to 31 March 2027. They may be extended based on performance or till the project ends, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

• SRF and YP-II (Genetics & Plant Breeding): Master's degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding
• YP-II (Plant Pathology): Master's degree in Plant Pathology
• Field Assistant: Graduate or Diploma holder in an Agricultural subject
• Computer Operator: Higher Secondary (10+2) or a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university, a certified computer course and typing speed proficiency in English and Marathi
• Age limit (SRF and YP-II): minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years, age relaxation as per rules
• M.Sc. (Agri.) final year students who have submitted their thesis can appear for the interview, but must produce a Provisional Degree Certificate while joining if selected

Selection Process

• If many applications are received, they will be shortlisted on the basis of merit (academic performance and experience), and only 1:5 proportionate shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.
• No call letters will be issued. Candidates must be present at the venue on the said date and time.
• The notice says late arrival after 11:00 AM will be considered ABSENT.

• Send hard copies personally or by post. Bring originals, one set of self-attested photocopies and two recent passport size photos to the interview.
• Fill a separate application form for each post. Applications deviating from the format will not be considered.
