UKSSSC Technician Grade-II Recruitment 2026 is open for 78 Group-C posts in two Uttarakhand power companies. The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission issued Advertisement No. 83/UKSSSC/2026 on 5 October 2026 for Technician Grade-II (Electrical) in the Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd (PTCUL) and Technician Grade-II (Electrical and Mechanical) in Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd (UJVNL). Online applications run from 12 October to 25 November 2026.

Eligibility
- Education: high school (Class 10) with science and mathematics
- Trade certificate: an all-India or state trade certificate in Electrician (PTCUL) / Electrician or Electronics (UJVNL Electrical) / Fitter (UJVNL Mechanical)
- Experience: two years of work in the related trade with a government, semi-government or registered private firm, after the qualification
- Age: 18 to 42 years on 1 July 2026 (born between 2 July 1984 and 1 July 2008); 5 years' relaxation for SC, ST and OBC of Uttarakhand and 10 years for persons with disabilities of Uttarakhand
- Residence: registration in an employment office of Uttarakhand, or domicile of Uttarakhand, or high school and intermediate passed from Uttarakhand
Application Fee
- Unreserved and Uttarakhand OBC: Rs 300
- Uttarakhand SC, ST and EWS: Rs 150
- Persons with disabilities of Uttarakhand: Rs 150
- Orphans: no fee
Selection Process
- One offline written exam of 100 marks with objective multiple-choice questions, 2 hours long, on the subjects of the qualification
- Four options per question; one-fourth of the marks of a question is cut for a wrong answer; no cut for a question left blank
- Minimum marks: 45% for unreserved, EWS and OBC; 35% for SC and ST
- Merit list on the written exam marks; candidates may take the question booklet home
