Birbhum AYUSH Recruitment 2026 – 7 Posts Apply

Birbhum District Health and Family Welfare Samity has invited online applications for 7 contractual posts under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM). The posts include AYUSH Doctors, Multi-Purpose Worker (MPW) and Data Entry Operator. Applications opened on 3 November 2026 and the last date for final form submission is 17 November 2026. Applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal.

Vacancy Details

The MPW posts are split as SC – 1, UR – 1 and EWS (EC) – 1. The posts are for work in Birbhum District, and the Data Entry Operator post is at AYUSH DPMU (Birbhum).

Eligibility

• AYUSH Doctor (Ayurvidya and Mobile Medical Unit): graduate degree in Homeopathy (BHMS) from a recognized university.
• AYUSH Doctor (Lymphatic Filariasis): graduate degree in Ayurveda (BAMS) from a recognized university.
• Age for AYUSH Doctor posts: minimum 21 years and maximum 50 years as on 1 January 2026. Age is not relaxable for the AYUSH Medical Officer post. DOB should be within 01/01/1976 to 01/01/2005.
• MPW: graduate from any recognized university and at least a 1-year diploma course in computer. Age 21 to 40 years, DOB within 01/01/1986 to 01/01/2005.
• Data Entry Operator: graduation in Computer Application, IT, Business Administration, B.Tech (C.S), BCA, BBA, B.Sc-IT or similar, or graduation with a one-year Diploma/Certificate course in Computer Application from a Government registered institute or university. Working knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access and Internet, and minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience. Age 21 to 40 years.
• Desirable qualifications are also listed for each post, such as public health programme experience and computer knowledge.

Application Fee

• General candidates: Rs. 100
• Reserved category candidates: Rs. 50
• Fee is paid online only, and the amount paid is non-refundable.

Selection Process

• Applications will be short-listed on marks for educational qualification and experience, and a merit list will be prepared.
• Where a computer test is held, candidates must score at least 50 percent marks in it.
• Final selection will be based on merit marks, computer test (where applicable) and experience.
