The District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Jhargram has issued a contractual recruitment notice for 33 posts under the National Health Mission (NHM), Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal. The posts are Medical Officer AYUSH (MHT), Pharmacist and Staff Nurse. Eligible candidates can apply online from 11:00 AM on 31 October 2026 till midnight of 19 November 2026.

Eligibility
- Medical Officer AYUSH (MHT): BHMS/BAMS/BUMS degree, completed compulsory internship and council registration; upper age limit 40 years. The male post is only for male applicants and the female post is only for female applicants.
- Pharmacist: Two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma) with West Bengal Pharmacy Council registration; age 18 to 40 years
- Staff Nurse: GNM training course with West Bengal Nursing Council registration; upper age limit 40 years
- For all posts, the candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and able to read, write and speak Bengali
Application Fee
- General candidates: 100 rupees
- Reserved category candidates: 50 rupees
- Fee is to be paid online only and is non-refundable.
Selection Process
- Selection is based on marks out of 100.
- Medical Officer AYUSH and Pharmacist: Class 10 (20 marks), Class 12 (20 marks) and the academic qualification (30 to 40 marks), on proportionate marking.
- Staff Nurse: Class 10 (30 marks), Class 12 (30 marks), GNM (20 marks) and experience (up to 20 marks).
