Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar has invited applications to hire one Consultant in Technical Services (Information and Communication Technology) on contract basis. Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Essential qualification: Master's Degree in the relevant subject
• Experience: good work experience under Government/State Govt./PSUs, directly relevant to the university target group
• Experience in one or more of: website and portal development and management (ASP.NET, Java, PHP, Oracle, MySQL, web services, etc.), database administration, ERP, e-Office, e-HRMS and SAMARTH Portal, or IT project management, documentation and reporting
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and communication technology, understanding of Windows systems, databases and cloud platforms, and of cybersecurity, data privacy and information security
• Good communication and coordination skills, ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams, and good problem-solving skills

Scope of Work

• Giving technical advice and strategic support on IT matters
• Planning, implementing and monitoring IT infrastructure and systems
• Managing networks, servers, databases, applications and cloud services
• Ensuring IT security, data protection, backup and disaster recovery
• Resolving technical issues with minimum downtime
• Preparing technical specifications, reports and documentation
• Coordinating with IT vendors and service providers
