Budgam Krishi Udyami Recruitment 2026 Extended

The Chief Agriculture Officer (CAOB) office in Budgam has extended the last date to apply for the post of Krishi Udyami (Agricultural Entrepreneur). The recruitment is under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) Phase-II, to run Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) in different panchayats of Budgam. There are 4 posts, and the new last date is 05-11-2026. Applications are offline.

The office extended the date because it received a poor response. All other terms of the original advertisement remain unchanged.

Vacancy Details

Centres (as per Annexure I): KKG Dharambugh (B.K.Pora), KKG Kenihama (B.K.Pora), KKG Dedmaribagh (Chadoora), KKG Mazhama (Narbal).

Eligibility

• Qualification: Diploma in Agriculture or allied fields, or Graduation in Science (BSc) / Graduation in Agriculture and Allied Fields (BSc/BVSc). Agri diploma courses include Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Fisheries and more.
• Additional preference: post-graduation (science/agri and allied) and computer diploma or certification of 3 or more months.
• Age: between 21 and 45 years as on the last date of submission.
• Domicile certificate is required.
• Condition: candidate must submit an affidavit attested by a 1st Class Magistrate that secure space of two rooms or shops (about 750 to 800 sq. ft.) will be provided in the panchayat, with no rent claimed.

Application Fee

• The advertisement does not state any application fee.
• The selected KU must deposit a refundable security amount of Rs 10,000 as a Fixed Deposit Receipt.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a 100-mark point system:

• Domicile of local panchayat: 25 points
• Female candidates: 5 points
• Diploma in Agri./BHT/BAT etc.: 15 points
• General Graduation (Science): 25 points
• Graduation in Agri. and Allied Courses: 45 points
• Post-Graduation (Science/Agri and Allied): 10 points
• Diploma/Certification in computers: 15 points

After this, document verification will be done and the list of selected candidates will be published on the official website.

How to Apply

• Fill the application form (Annexure A) and the declaration (Annexure B).
• Submit the form at the office of the Deputy Commissioner Budgam, in person or by registered post.
• Attach self-attested copies of: date of birth certificate (matriculation), marks certificates of all qualifying exams, and domicile certificate.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected without notice. Postal delay is not the responsibility of the advertising authority.
• Original documents must be shown at verification.
