Alappuzha District Court Recruitment 2026 Apply

The District Court, Alappuzha has invited applications to form a panel for contract appointment in the Fast Track Special Court, Haripad, Alappuzha district. There are 4 posts in total: Confidential Assistant, L.D Typist and Office Attendant. Only retired employees of the Judicial Department or other departments can apply, and the application must reach the office by 3.00 pm on 03.11.2026. Eligibility

• The post is meant for staff retired from similar or higher posts in the Judicial Departments or other departments, as per G.O.(Rt) No. 73/2020/SJD dated 12.02.2020 and 65/2020/SJD dated 06.02.2020.
• The upper age limit for appointment is 62 years. Persons are liable to be terminated on attaining the age of 62.
• Age is counted as on 01.10.2026 as per the application form.

Appointment Terms

• The appointment is purely on contract basis for a continuous period of 179 days at a single stretch, subject to the terms and conditions.
• The notice does not mention any application fee or written test.

How to Apply

• Use the application form (Proforma) attached with the notification.
• Fill in name, age as on 01.10.2026 and date of birth, Pension Payment Order Number (PPO), date of retirement, designation and office at retirement, total service in the cadre, permanent address, address for communication and contact number.
• Affix a recent passport size photo and sign the declaration.
• Make sure the filled form reaches the office by 3.00 pm on 03.11.2026.

Selection Process
