Begusarai PDS Dealer Recruitment 2026, 73 Posts

The District Supply Office (Collectorate) of Begusarai, Bihar, has issued Notice No. 02/2026 to fill 73 vacant Public Distribution System (PDS) fair price shop dealer posts in the Begusarai sub-division. This can be called the Begusarai PDS Dealer Recruitment. Applications will be received by registered post at the sub-division office in Begusarai from 02 November 2026. The notice includes 24 posts for women under 35 percent horizontal reservation and 03 posts for persons with disabilities.

Vacancy Details

Out of these 73 posts, 24 are reserved for women under 35 percent horizontal reservation and 03 for persons with disabilities. Another 01 post is reserved for grandchildren of freedom fighters.

Eligibility

• The minimum educational qualification is matriculation (10th pass).
• The applicant must be an adult.
• Applicants with computer knowledge will get preference.
• Only one member of a joint family can be allotted a fair price shop.
• Persons holding elected posts such as mukhiya, panch, ward member, MLA, MLC, MP and urban body members are disqualified.

Application Fee

• The notice does not mention any application fee.

Selection Process

• After scrutiny, merit numbers will be given post-wise and sent to the District Level Selection Committee.
• The provisional merit list will be published on the notice board. Written claims or objections can be submitted to the District Supply Officer, Begusarai, within 15 days of its publication date.
• The final merit list will be published after claims and objections are settled.
• Selection will be purely on the basis of merit.

How to Apply

• Individuals apply in Annexure-1, and self-help groups and cooperative societies of women and ex-servicemen apply in Annexure-2.
• Attach three colour passport-size photos with the application form.
• Attach self-attested copies of educational and computer knowledge certificates.
• If you apply for more than one panchayat or ward, all your applications will be cancelled.
• Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
