RMC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - 825 Posts, Rajkot

Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has invited online applications to fill 825 apprentice places in various trades. The engagement is under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Mukhyamantri Apprenticeship Yojana of Gujarat. Applications open on 2 November 2026 and close on 17 November 2026. Only ITI pass candidates can apply. After applying online, candidates must also deliver a printout with documents to the RMC office by 23 November 2026.

Who Can Apply

• A course pass from a government-recognised ITI in the concerned trade is required.
• Only ITI pass candidates of the relevant trade should apply.
• Anyone who has already completed an apprenticeship in any trade, at RMC or at any other institution, must not apply.
• If such a candidate is found, they will be declared ineligible.

How Selection Works

• Eligible candidates will be taken for training on vacant places in order of merit.
• A waiting list will operate by merit when places fall vacant from time to time.

Stipend

• Selected apprentices will get the monthly stipend fixed by the government.
• The notice does not state a rupee amount, so check the details on the RMC website.

How to Apply

• Go to the RMC website, rmc.gov.in, and fill the apprentice form online. No other mode is accepted for the application.
• Take a printout of the online application.
• Attach self-attested copies of the documents listed in the form.
• Submit them in person at: Manager, Mahekam Shakha, Room No. 1, Second Floor, Rajkot Municipal Corporation, Dhebarbhai Road, Rajkot 360001.
• Office timing given in the notice is 10:30 AM to 6:10 PM on working days.

Do Not Miss the Second Step

• Applying online alone is not enough. Candidates who do not submit documents on time will be disqualified from the further process.
• Plan your visit to Rajkot before 23 November 2026, and avoid the last working day.
