DCCM Tiruvallur Technical Assistant Recruitment 2026

The District Climate Change Mission (DCCM), Tiruvallur, has invited applications for one Technical Assistant on a purely contract basis. The post follows the guidelines of the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Tamil Nadu. The pay is Rs. 22,000 a month, and the engagement is for 19 months at the Tiruvallur District Collectorate. Applications must be received by 10 November 2026.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Forestry, Wildlife, Public Policy or similar subjects.
• Basic typewriting skills in Tamil and English.
• Must be a resident of Tiruvallur district.
• Must not have completed 40 years of age.
• One year of relevant experience, preferably in a government office, may get first preference.

Work and Skills

• Coordinating line departments on climate action and documenting DCCM work.
• Organising meetings every two months and preparing minutes.
• Data entry, reports, letters and presentations in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

How Selection Works

• Eligible candidates are called for an in-person interview and a typing test.
• A waiting list of 2 to 3 candidates will be kept.
• No TA or DA is paid.
