Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has invited online applications for 7 posts at its Centre for Vedic Science under Advertisement No. 09/2025-26. Eligibility
- Associate Professor: Ph.D., Master's with at least 55%, eight years of teaching or research, seven publications, a research score of 75 and knowledge of Sanskrit.
- Assistant Professor: Master's with 55% in the subject, and NET or as allowed by the UGC Regulations 2018.
- Read the advertisement for the Assistant Librarian and Programmer posts.
Application Fee
- Rs. 1000 for UR and OBC on Teaching and Group A posts.
- No fee for SC, ST and PwBD. The fee is not refundable.
How Selection Works
- Scores are used to shortlist candidates for interview.
- Selection is based on performance in the interview. Stricter shortlisting may apply.

- Apply through the Samarth portal linked on bhu.ac.in/rac.
- Print the form, sign it and get it forwarded by your employer, if any.
- Send it to the Recruitment and Assessment Cell, Holkar House, B.H.U., Varanasi 221005.
