DCPU Buxar Support Person Recruitment 2026 - 15 Posts

The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Buxar, has issued Advertisement No. 02/2026 to form a panel of 15 Support Persons, who give legal and psychological support to child victims under the POCSO Act, 2012. The posts are temporary and based on POCSO cases, and the panel runs for two years. The letter is dated 31 October 2026. Applications go by post within 21 days of the newspaper advertisement, which comes to about 21 November 2026.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Post-graduation in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Child Development or Law.
• Or a graduate in any faculty with a diploma in child rights or counselling, and three years of experience.
• Age: 30 to 65 years, counted on the date of the advertisement.
• Must be a citizen of India and a resident of Buxar district.
• No criminal case, and a notary affidavit is required.

How Selection Works

• Evaluation: Graduate 50 marks, Post Graduate 20 and Ph.D. 10, total 80.
• Interview: up to 20 marks.
• Originals must be brought on the interview day.

• Pay is Rs. 9,000 per POCSO case, in three instalments.
• Use the prescribed form on buxar.nic.in. Other formats will be cancelled.
• Attach self-attested certificates and send by registered or speed post.
