CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal has released Advertisement No. RECT-02/2026 for 14 posts: Technical Officer, Security Officer, Security Assistant, Technician (1) and Multi Tasking Staff. Vacancy Details

Note: The 7 Technical Officer posts include UR-06 and SC-01. The 4 Technician (1) posts include UR-03 and ST-01. Two Technician posts (TC-03 and TC-04) are anticipated vacancies arising from superannuation within the next year.

Eligibility

• Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Technical Officer: M.Sc. or equivalent with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject, or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Electronics or Instrumentation, or MCA, as per the post.
• Security Officer: Ex-Servicemen JCO (Subedar or higher rank) or equivalent in Para-military forces, with 10 years of security experience (5 or 10 years in some cases as per the document).
• Security Assistant: Ex-servicemen JCO in Army or equivalent in Para-Military Forces with 05 years of experience in security work.
• Technician (1): SSC / 10th with Science subjects and minimum 55% marks, plus ITI certificate in the trade, or the apprentice or work experience option as stated for each post.
• Multi Tasking Staff: Matriculation / 10th Standard pass. A valid driving licence for Light Motor Vehicle is needed for the driving duty.

Application Fee

• Fee: Rs 500 for each post code, paid online. It is non-refundable.
• SC, ST, PwBD, Women and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted on uploading the relevant certificate.
• An application without the prescribed fee is rejected.

Selection Process

• Technical Officer: screening, then a qualifying Trade Test, then a competitive written examination of three papers (Mental Ability; General Awareness and English; Concerned Subject).
• The final merit list for Technical Officer is made only from Paper II and Paper III, and these two papers are checked only for candidates who clear the threshold in Paper I.
• Security Officer, Security Assistant, Technician (1) and Multi Tasking Staff each have their own procedure in Section 5 of the advertisement.
• The written examination, physical test and personality assessment test will ordinarily be held in Bhopal.
