Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), Lucknow has invited online applications for the Post-Doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC) and Post-Doctoral Fellowship Course (PDF) for session 2026-27. These are one-year courses in which selected doctors also work as Senior Residents. Online registration starts on 3 November 2026 and applications close on 29 November 2026 at 5 PM. The application fee is Rs 2000 and is non-refundable.

Eligibility
- Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
- Qualification: For PDCC, MD/DNB in the relevant subject (MS/DNB in Orthopaedics for the Orthopedics courses); for PDF, MCh in Neurosurgery. The degree must be recognised by NMC before the last date for applications.
- Upper age limit: 40 years for PDCC and 45 years for PDF, as on the last date of online application.
- Reservation: There is no reservation in super-specialty PDCC/PDF courses.
Application Fee
- Fee: Rs 2000 (including GST), paid online. Additional bank transaction charge may apply.
- The fee is non-refundable in full or in part under any circumstances.
- Applications without the fee will be rejected.
Selection Process
- PDCC: An objective MCQ-based written test with two parts. Part A has 60 questions of 1 mark each and Part B has 20 questions of 2 marks each, for 100 marks in 90 minutes. The qualifying mark is 50%. There is no negative marking.
- PDF: Selection is only through interview. Candidates must give a write-up of about 200 words at the interview.

- Applications by hand, post or courier are not accepted.
- A valid mobile number and e-mail ID are compulsory for registration.
- Candidates serving in any institution must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
