TPGL Recruitment 2026 - General Manager (HR) and CFO Posts

Tripura Power Generation Limited (TPGL), a Government of Tripura enterprise, has released two advertisements for senior contract posts: General Manager (Human Resource) under No. TPGL/2026-27/03 and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) cum Company Secretary (CS) under No. TPGL/2026-27/04. Each is one Unreserved Group A post on a 3 year contract. Applications must reach the Corporate Office by 5:30 PM on 30 November 2026. Selection is by interview.

Vacancy Details

Pay

• In-service candidates on deputation or direct recruits below 60 years: Level 20 of the pay matrix under the Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2018, with minimum basic pay of Rs 1,18,500, plus DA at present 44%, HRA of Rs 10,000 a month, and EPF.
• Retired candidates, or those above 60 years: Rs 1,00,000 a month, consolidated.
• Leave, medical reimbursement and TA follow State Government rules, with vehicle and mobile as per company policy.

Eligibility

• Age: maximum 65 years on the last date of application. This may be relaxed for a deserving candidate.
• General Manager (HR): at least 55% in a Master's degree in HR or Personnel Management or an MBA with that specialisation, or first class in a two-year full-time PGDM in the same field.
• Experience for General Manager (HR): at least 20 years at managerial level in HR work. Power sector exposure in a government body or PSU is preferred.
• CFO-cum-CS: CA or ICWA with F.C.S.
• Experience for CFO-cum-CS: at least 20 years in budgeting, financial management, accounts, procurement, tariff and regulatory matters, internal audit and Company Secretary functions, preferably in government power utilities.
• For both posts, the 20 year limit may be reduced for a deserving candidate.

Service Terms

• Contract for 3 years, extendable by mutual consent. Either party can end it with 30 days' notice or one month's pay.
• There is no pension, but EPF applies where applicable.

• The advertisements do not mention any application fee.

Selection Process

• Selection is by interview only, for shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA is paid.
• Shortlisting, if needed, may be by written test, academic record, higher qualification and experience.
