APS Kamptee Principal Recruitment 2026 - Term Basis

Army Public School (APS) Kamptee in Maharashtra, a CBSE affiliated Senior Secondary school under the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), has advertised the post of Principal on term basis. Eligibility

• A regular Master's degree with 50% aggregate marks in a CBSE notified teaching subject, preferably one taught in Army Public Schools.
• A regular B.Ed with 50% aggregate marks from a UGC or NCTE recognised institution.
• 8 years of regular service as a PGT in any teaching subject in a recognised CBSE school.
• For a serving Vice Principal, 6 years as a PGT and 2 years of administrative experience as Vice Principal.
• Or 15 years of combined PGT and TGT experience, with at least 3 years as a PGT, in a recognised CBSE school.
• Adequate working knowledge of computers, MS Office and PowerPoint.
• For AWES employees (PGT or TGT), only the experience and age criteria need to be met.
• Additional desired qualifications: PhD, M.Ed and at least 3 years of administrative experience as Vice Principal or Senior Secondary School Exam-in-Charge.
• Age: 40 to 50 years. The maximum is 55 years for regular APS employees and ex-servicemen.
